Ordered catfish ‘burn it’ style as I prefer mine crispy. Came out hot and crispy but juicy. Well seasoned, hush puppies were moist, garlic and bacon slaw didn’t disappoint, garlic was strong but not overpowering, perfectly dressed, a touch too much pepper. Definitely worth the trip from i35!

Ashley, our server, was awesome! I was with my 6 year old son and 8 year old daughter who are very energetic and Ashley was patient, kind, and attentive. My son wanted more hush puppies and she was on it, making sure he was happy. She also saw me scraping the bottom of my tartar sauce cup from across the room and brought another over before I even had to ask. Loved her! And the food is delicious. My kids are picky eaters but they love Huck’s catfish, hush puppies, and okra.

This place is great for catfish..the staff there are very friendly and are attentive. This is your grandpa's catfish place lol. Usually, what I have noticed is that the people that come there tend to be older people crowd. Not to say that there are not younger people that eat there. Just seems more of a down-home country feeling where a family would go out to eat after church or something. This place is famous for their fried catfish. I have been going there for years. I drive almost two hours just to go and eat there. That's how good it is. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes down home cooking.

Catfish was excellent, server Ashley was friendly and attentive. The fried squash, hush puppies, pintos and sweet tea were really good too! I only wish I had ordered the small/1pc meal so I'd had enough room for some peach cobbler. Next time! We will be back, and we will try for a day they are serving the okra.

Best fried fish I have had. Batter is very different, but it's really good. Fish was flacky and not soggy. Good old-fashioned cooked pinto beans. First visit, but when I am in town again, I will make a stop.

I've been going to Huck's for catfish exclusively for 20 years, when I first moved to this area. The first catfish house I went to was by the lake, and it was good, but not Huck's good. After I tried Huck's there was no reason to go anywhere else. Great service; the chef, owner, manager, they all come around and greet you properly. They make you feel at home. Never had a bad waiter/waitress, either. Everything I've eaten is stellar. Completely delicious 😋

I had not been to Huck's in over 5 years and the food and atmosphere was better than I remembered. I rate coleslaw and catfish against Huck's and so far no other restaurant compares. Huck's Catfish is the benchmark. Thank you for years of consistency.

We stopped by on the recommendation of a friend. Very good catfish and sides! I had catfish and jalapeno poppers with fries and okra. It was all very good and reasonably priced. We would eat there again!
